Great helicopter, love the size flys awesome and battery last a good 12 minutes. Perfect for the RC airfield or just flying around the yard. Very happy with the purchase of this helicopter. Details are amazing GPS is great for beginners and the manual mode is great for intermediate or expert pilots. This helicopter is an all around home run.
I originally ordered the police (red/White Version). My friend Martin at Stirling emailed me after a few days and asked me if i wanted to wait for that since it looked like it would be delayed for a while. After a brief email conversation, he switched my purchase to the black version based on my request. I am thrilled that he did that. I absolutely love this little bird. i have over a dozen YuXiang helicopters, and they are all really beautiful and well-made. This one takes it to another level. I have flown it only for a short few flights because of the atrocious weather here at the moment, but I absolutely love it. The GPS and optical flow work exstremely well and despite heave winds it flys rock steady. I plan to buy more versions as YuXiang brings them to the market. Yes one is ok but more in different liveries is better. Highly recommend it.
The Yu Xiang MD500 flies far more stable than I expected for a 250-class helicopter. Been flying it weekly and it has never once failed to take off or hover correctly. Very dependable model
