Meticulously made. Very precise running. Only issue (minor) is that the fly wheel is sort of a garish blue instead of the elegant looking black and gold. Shipping was unbelievably prompt. 10 days. WOW ! Would highly recommend.................
Has ball bearing flywheel shaft. Runs down to 200 rpm and up to 1100 rpm. Just use 1/8" wick length. Be careful of glass tube supporting wick. Had to sand wood base flat on bottom to not rock. Smooth runner and very quiet. Add lubrication to control valve thread. Only ~1/4 turn for whole speed range. Worth the money, but mine has an ugly blue anodized flywheel and not the nice brass looking one in ad. Disappointing, that.
