What a great addition - generator and a streetlight
I picked up this Generator & Streetlight Model Kits for RETROL Miniature Steam Engine to use with my steam and ICE engines; it's so well made. Only drawback is that you need to physically reverse the streetlight connection, if you reverse the direction of the generator - clockwise vs counterclockwise. I derived a solution, I added a 2W10 2A Diode Bridge Rectifier (see green circle in image), so that it doesn't matter what direction the generator is running, the streetlight continues to light (no swapping connections).
